In
the late 19th century, Dr. William Thomas Angove moved out from
Cornwall, England to Tea Tree Gully in Adelaide and started to cultivate 10
acres of land to put up a vineyard and state of the art winery and distillery.
Over the years, the farmlands expanded to hundreds of hectares until the
purchase of the 480 hectare Nanya Vineyard in Paringa.
In
2007, Angove Family Winemakers committed to a safer and healthier option by
beginning the conversion of the Nanya vineyard to certified organic grape
production. Now representing the fifth generation of Angove Family Winemakers,
siblings Richard and Victoria are determined to continue the successful
winemaking history of the family.
AngoveOrganic Wine is 100% percent free from harmful chemicals and is processed with
minimal additives. Nevertheless, they offer a wide range of full-flavoured
wines that are made from only the fresh and high-quality produce from McLaren
Vale.
